UTO debuts outdoor apparel and base layer collection with THERMOLITE® ALL SEASON fiber

Founded in 2009, UTO is a China-based sportswear brand focused on high-performance, seamless sports gear that uses industry-leading technology to support athletes and anyone living an active life. In partnership with The LYCRA Company, it's fast becoming a go-to base layer brand. UTO will outfit China’s athletes at the Winter Games in Milan, Italy, next year.
At SS2026 Shanghai Fashion Week, the brand debuted three new base layer collections under the theme Origin · Boundless, a nod to UTO’s boundless talent and ambition. Enhanced with THERMOLITE® ALL SEASON fiber for cool-and-dry comfort plus lightweight warmth, as well as LYCRA® fiber for stretch, the collections offer the ideal blend for skiers on the move.
Each collection was inspired by a distinctive force: traditional culture; China’s national sports teams; and avant-garde design. There’s truly a style for every athlete.

UTO has adopted LYCRA® fiber across its entire spandex product line, and over 30% of its total base layer range now features THERMOLITE® ALL SEASON fiber, reflecting the brand’s commitment to fiber-driven innovation.

To support UTO’s presentation at Shanghai Fashion Week, as well as its follow-up outdoor activations and presence at the Shanghai Sports Show, The LYCRA Company custom-developed a mecha installation exclusively for the brand, showing how THERMOLITE® ALL SEASON fiber performs in any weather. The giant robot offered a chance for UTO’s customers to experience the role of fiber technology in an engaging, immersive way and get excited to slip into UTO’s base layers.
At the entrance of the fashion show, through layered visuals and dynamic lighting, the display illustrated how THERMOLITE® ALL SEASON fiber meets the body’s need for warmth and effective sweat-wicking during movement — delivering all-day comfort in dynamic outdoor conditions. Paired with LYCRA® fiber, which delivers freedom of movement and performance support, the garments provide the total package for a day of outdoor pleasure.
